Manish Gupta is a highly skilled QA Consultant and Senior Test Engineer at Magic Software Inc. with over 6.78 years of relevant experience. He is an ISTQB Foundation Level Certified Tester and has specialized in manual, automation, and API testing. Manish has extensive experience in all phases of Agile and Waterfall models and has worked with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Maven, TestNG, Jenkins, and Git and GitHub. He is also experienced in blackbox testing, system integration, smoke, sanity, regression, and ad-hoc testing. Manish has a strong background in UI testing and has worked with Selenium WebDriver using Java for UI testing. He has also worked with Rest API(Postman) and has basic knowledge of Mongo DB and Mocha. Additionally, he has experience in team leading and has exposure to CI/CD Setup(basic). Currently, Manish is working as a Senior Test Engineer at Magic Software where he is responsible for understanding and discussing requirements with the product manager, team, and client. He independently identifies scenarios for the modules being developed under the ongoing sprint, writes test cases in Zephyr, and maps them with the required stories for RTM. He has extensive experience working in fast-paced Agile Scrum and Kanban methodology and runs test cases during testing while also performing ad-hoc/monkey testing for stabilizing the product. Manish is also responsible for every successful release of the features onto the production server and can perform sanity and smoke testing before the production release. Prior to his current role, Manish worked as a Software Engineer in Test at Optimus Information and as a Testing Engineer - L3 at Oppo. At both companies, he gained rich experience in desktop application and web application testing, as well as mobile application testing. He has experience in writing test cases and edge cases for new features and functionality added to the product and has mentored and provided KT to teammates. Manish holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad.
