Manoj Adwani is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of technology experience in India and Singapore. He has worked in both startup and corporate environments, including Barclays. Currently, he is building Bizsomia, a social commerce platform for SMEs. He has grown the platform from ideation to over 20,000 users and is involved in designing each page and flow of the application. Manoj is also responsible for planning marketing strategies and executing them, making videos as part of the promotion material, and performing all roles from being a product manager to a customer care executive. In addition to his startup experience, Manoj has also worked in various roles in software testing, IT support, and niche areas such as technology risk. He has managed and executed projects at the enterprise level and has experience in facing auditors and regulators. He has worked with C-level staff of organizations to do risk assessment and execute strategies. Manoj is an individual who loves to run community events and volunteers for the Surat chapter of the eChai Startup Community, where he moderates monthly events featuring the journey of startup founders. He is always eager to experiment and learn new things, which has helped him a lot in his career. He also loves to travel, but on a budget. Currently, Manoj works as a consultant for PEPC, a 12-hour project management course for employees of growing IT companies who do not have the bandwidth for employee training. The course has four modules, where P stands for Planning, E for Execution, P for People Management, and C for Communication. Manoj has put his 15 years of corporate experience into developing this course. Manoj has also worked as a freelance product manager for tech startups, where he provided the right insight, did research and validation, and ensured the right product was being built in the right way. He is a founder of Bizsomia, where he manages cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, and oversees product development. He has implemented A/B experiments on the onboarding process to improve the Install to Active ratio from 30% to 70%. He communicates regularly with the users of the app to understand their pain points and then solves them to improve engagement. He has set up an analytics dashboard to identify the core features that correlate with the customer journey. Manoj holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications from Gujarat University.
