Manoj Mohanan is a competent professional with extensive experience in the Performance Testing and Engineering space. With over 18 years of relevant experience, he has expertise in managing and supporting software application performance for highly distributed, large-scale systems across varied domains, including Finance, Insurance, Education, E-commerce, and Telematics/IOT industries. He has exposure working in fast-paced setups following Agile Methodology and Micro Services Architecture Pattern and has worked in both individual contribution as well as lead roles. Manoj has demonstrated experience in building core teams from scratch and hands-on experience in all phases of performance testing and engineering lifecycle from 'Requirements gathering' through to 'Test Scenario Design', 'Test Execution', 'Tuning and Analysis', 'Project Wrap-up' and 'Post Release Monitoring'. He has experience in detecting and tuning typical App and DB related performance issues such as Thread Contention, Connection Pool Sizing, GC, and is comfortable working in cross-functional teams and liaising with multiple groups like Dev, Infra, Devops, Functional QA for Issue Triaging and Root Cause Analysis. Manoj has exposure to component-level testing and tuning - open-source components for Cache Management, Messaging, NoSQL and RDBMS - Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Mongo DB, and PostgresSQL. He also has some amount of experience with Manual Testing as well as knowledge on Functional Automation suite like Selenium WebDriver.
