Manoj Paliwal is an Instructional Assistant (MIS) at the University of Houston and an MS-IE Graduate Student with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Data Analysis. He has experience in the field of Procurement and Supply Chain of products, having worked for 2 years as an Engineer at Reliance Retail Limited. Manoj is a problem solver and a team player with excellent communication skills. He is self-driven, customer-focused, and flexible, making him an asset to any team. Manoj has a strong technical background, with expertise in SAP, MS Excel, Matlab, R, Python, NumPy, Pandas, Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Minitab, Solidwork, Ansys, MS Powerpoint, Operations & Supply Chain, Facility Planning, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Julia, OpenMP, Six Sigma, and Lean. Manoj is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston, Texas, and is expected to graduate at the end of Spring 2023. He is seeking internship opportunities during his course of studies to further his understanding of the field. He also holds a Micro Credential in Data Science from the University of Houston. In his past industrial experience, Manoj developed 11 different Home Appliances products (100+ SKU's) with proper sourcing strategies for 4 different brands and dealt with Supplier contracts & orders for more than 21 Suppliers (local and Global) after validating, evaluating, and proposing them to the Business and Marketing team based on their Company profile, Factory Audits, Product Quality, Product Safety, and Quote. He also managed and worked with 9 different teams and 10+ National Warehouses as a single point of contact and provided them with RFQ's, RFP's, Commercial data, Spares data, and helped them solve issues related to Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and ASN of the product. Manoj holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and completed his Computer Science studies at ICLES Motilal Jhunjhunwala College in India.
