Marcin K. is a Senior Technology Manager/Architect with a PhD and PMP certification, who is passionate about building teams and developing system architectures to support client requirements. He has a solid background in research methodologies, combined with extensive skills in Azure, Java, and Javascript, along with knowledge of insurance, tax, telco, and banking domains. Currently working as a Senior Manager/Global Engineering Lead at ey, Marcin has also served as an Application Architect (AVP) at Credit Suisse, where he was the primary contact person and decision authority regarding application design, infrastructure, and Java development. He led the Polish team on a daily basis and managed technical aspects in a distributed project by proactively addressing architectural and delivery challenges to build a highly distributed, flexible, and scalable risk management platform based on SOA, REST, SEDA, and BASE architectural patterns. He also collaborated closely with enterprise architects and business analysts on project architectures, with a particular emphasis on integration and security domains. Marcin has also worked as a Lecturer at various universities, teaching topics related to software engineering, such as system analysis and modelling, Java, C++, and C# programming, web application development, distributed systems, and databases. With a PhD in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Marcin has also completed postgraduate studies in Project Management from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. He holds a Master of Science, MSc (with honours) in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
