Marin Metohu is a seasoned UX Product Designer with over 15 years of experience in the field. He is known for his expertise in helping teams turn conceptual ideas into valuable products for users, contributing to high-level strategic decisions, and designing flows and experiences that are simple and elegant. Marin is also skilled in overseeing the user experience of new features and products from conception until launch and facilitating Product Strategy Workshops & Design Sprint Workshops. Currently, Marin is working as a UX/UI Designer at heycar, where he has helped shape the product for a launch in new markets in France and Netherlands. He has also prepared a white label design system to easily accommodate future releases in other countries. His responsibilities include prototyping, testing, iterating during the incubation phase, preparing pixel-perfect deliverables for the FE engineers to implement, and helping in QA and design support during the launch. Prior to his current role, Marin worked as a UX/UI Designer at heycar, where he was responsible for working on the product design of the rollout of a high-quality car selling platform in a new market (Spain). He has also worked as a Senior Product Designer at finleap connect, where he was involved in building a Fintech solution to help SMEs manage their business better. Marin's recent projects at finleap connect include running Design Sprints Workshops to generate ideas and validate solutions, user research & user testing, building an Atomic Design System, creating a White Label Solution, and working closely with PMs to define the product strategy. Marin holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from the Polytechnic University Of Tirana, where he studied Telecommunications, software engineering, and hardware design. Marin's tech stack includes designer, UI, product designer, test, QA, Research Scientist, and product manager.
