Matilde Giglio is a co-founder of Even, India's best health cover, and a passionate early-stage/angel investor. She is committed to solving healthcare for 1.3 billion Indians by providing access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for all Indians with a focus on building a strong preventive and primary behavior. Even provides unlimited, cashless access to consultations, diagnostics, and primary care along with a hospital cover for all its members. Since its inception in 2020, Even has raised $20 million and is backed by some of the world's leading investors, including Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, and others. Currently, Even has close to 150 employees in India. Matilde's background includes co-founding a machine learning company where she built and grew various products used by hundreds of thousands of users across Europe and the US. After that, she started her career as an investor, joining one of the top firms in London, where she headed their healthcare and fintech verticals. Matilde is still angel-investing on the side and has invested in over 30 startups globally, along with being a scout for several global VC firms and family offices. Matilde is a graduate of the London School of Economics, where she completed her Master of Science (MSc) degree. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University.
