Mayur Mistry is a multidisciplinary design engineer with a passion for integrated design solutions for the built environment. He is currently working as a Design Technologist at Perkins&Will, where he strives to develop valuable and cool technological tools. Mayur has a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Mayur's work experience as a structural engineer at Burohappold Engineering and an internship at Turner Construction has shaped his thinking to provide rational and practical design solutions. He became the first civil engineer to be awarded "IIT Bombay Tech Person of the Year Award" and represented "India Internationally" at Solar Decathlon China competition. Mayur is also a Blockchain & Metaverse in AEC Applications Developer (Volunteer) at archidao.io, where he hustles for open source development for Web3 first design spaces development, Metaverse development, and Blockchain in AEC applications accessible to everyone. Mayur is a tech enthusiast and has expertise in Blockchain, AI, Web3, and ML. He believes in blending multi-disciplinary knowledge to make a difference. He is also a Senior Software Engineer with relevant experience of 3.12 years. In his leisure time, Mayur works on passion projects solving challenging problems. He likes to hang out with intelligent people and algorithms, creative coders, hitch-hikers, couch-surfers, entrepreneurs, reading, solo traveling, or creating content for his YouTube Channel. His YouTube channel is dedicated to sharing knowledge and resources to help become a better architect & engineer, along with content that will inspire and learn skills to disrupt the aec industry and also inspire all engineers who want to become architects and vice versa, to pursue their passion. Mayur is a goal-oriented person who believes in leading by example. His mission is to be a role model when he needed to make a tough choice. He is always thirsty for knowledge and critical thinking skills that drive him to do smart-hard work, resulting in cutting-edge optimized solutions when he approaches any project.
