Mehak Marwaha is a driven individual with a passion for understanding the impact of technology on social and economic spheres. With a background in software engineering and a current focus on information management, she is well-equipped to explore the horizons of this field. As a registered Product Owner and Scrum Master, Mehak has experience managing information and product cataloging projects for modernization of technologies in a billion-dollar retail giant (Gap Inc.). Mehak's diverse professional experience has enabled her to experience different aspects of product development in organizations that value a varied range of work ethics. Her internships in the oil automation industry drove her to understand requirement capturing, data-centric validations, and automated applications to replace manual labor. Currently, Mehak is a Technical Project Manager and Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute, where she engages with external sponsor Apple Inc. for collaborative milestone delivery as part of Electronic Waste Recycling Project using Deep Learning Strategies. She is responsible for tracking project deliverables between cross-functional software and hardware teams to develop plans for the disassembly process of electronic waste. Mehak is a Master's in Information Systems Management candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, set to graduate in December 2022. She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT in 2019. With a goal to analyze the impact of technology that governs business transformations, Mehak seeks opportunities for roles that will enable her to manage technological software projects for profitable business returns. Mehak's relevant experience of 1.68 years as a Research Scientist, Software Engineer, and Product Manager, coupled with her technical skills in Deep Learning, make her a valuable asset to any organization.
