Merry Joe is a Senior Technical Recruiter at Instabase, a startup that provides an operating system with toolkits and applications for companies to fundamentally change how people build and consume business apps. She deals with full-cycle recruitment, from initial sourcing and screening through offer negotiation, placement, and onboarding from early grads through till execs. Merry uses this process as an avenue to build and maintain a more like a buddy relation with candidates than being only a recruiter. Merry's specialties include end-to-end recruitment (sourcing to onboarding), employer branding, employee engagement, candidate engagement, and onboarding facilitations (both as an organizer and facilitator of the sessions). She has also helped set up the IB team from scratch and helped build the team. Merry works closely with business leaders and decision-makers on hiring needs. Merry holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing & HR from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Biotechnology from Karunya University. She has also completed her higher secondary education in Computer Science/Science from St. Hilda's School, Ooty, and her high school education in Science from Nazareth Convent High School, Ooty. Merry's past companies include Instabase, where she worked as a Technical Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Partner. She is currently managing recruitment for Customer Success Management (CSM), TAM (Technical Account Manager), SE (Solutions Engineering), and Engineering roles at Instabase.
