Mohammed Aeraf is an experienced Solutions Architect with over 8 years of experience in designing secure, scalable, and resilient architectures leveraging public cloud services. He is currently working as a Solutions Architect at Frontline Performance Group, where he is responsible for migrating an on-premise monolith payment-based application to a microservices-based application on AWS Cloud. He is also leading the software development team to develop new services and applications. Mohammed is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate and has extensive knowledge and experience in designing architecture leveraging AWS Services such as EC2, ELB, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, SQS, SES, Lambda, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, ACM, and Route 53. He is passionate about implementing SCRUM in teams new to SCRUM and Agile Methodologies and mentoring, guiding & upskilling software development engineers and team leads. Mohammed has exposure to various business domains including FinTech, E-commerce, F&B, Education, Construction, T&A, and Risk Profiling. He has a strong ability to enforce coding practices and methodologies such as SOLID Design Principles in the Software Development process. In his previous roles, Mohammed has worked as a Solutions Architect at Import.io and Hesabe Payment Collection Company. At Import.io, he was responsible for creating detailed solution designs for new web scraping and extraction projects, designing data flow pipeline from extraction of data to delivery at customer's bucket, and defining strategy for code review, automated code checks, and validation. At Hesabe Payment Collection Company, he was responsible for modernizing legacy on-premise legacy app to cloud-based microservices app, designing and architecting payment-based services such as Payment API, Merchant Panel, Merchant Mobile App, and managing Development & Staging AWS Infrastructure. Mohammed holds a PGDST degree from nmims and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai. He has also completed his HSC from SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce SION(W) and SSC from St Mary's High School. His tech stack includes AWS, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Web, Microservices, Mobile, and Infra. Mohammed has a total of 18.62 years of relevant experience. In his free time, he enjoys nurturing flowering plants and watching sunset views at beaches.
