Mohd Abbas Zaidi is an accomplished AI Research Engineer at Samsung Research, Seoul, with a deep passion for Natural Language Processing (NLP). He has made significant contributions to the field of AI and NLP, with his works published in top-tier conferences such as ACL-IWSLT, ICASSP, NAACL, INTERSPEECH, and IEEE Access. Abbas completed his undergraduate studies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he honed his skills in Electrical Engineering. He has also worked as a Backend Development and Machine Learning Intern at PocketFM, where he deployed a backend log monitoring system using ELK stack with burst error alerts. He also built a recommendation system using ALS matrix factorisation to provide user and show specific recommendations.
