Mona S. is a Co-Founder and Director of India Accelerator, a Launchpad for early-stage technology startups in India. With over 13 years of experience in multinational corporations, Mona brings large enterprise strengths to startups, ensuring a well-rounded perspective on successful business models, brand building, and consumer trends. She is also the Founder and CEO of iAngels Network and a Founding Partner of IA Growth Fund. Mona is focused on seed-stage investments and works intensively with entrepreneurs to build transformative companies that improve the way we live, work, and connect. She partners early to successfully identify the 'hidden gems' and then nurtures these promising ventures to grow them into meaningful companies. Prior to co-founding India Accelerator, Mona was also a Co-founder at Wish A Mitr, a recommendation-based gifting portal. She has worked as a Sr. Project Manager and a Transition Manager at Optum Global Solutions India, managing and overseeing all technology deliveries and transitions for projects across Development and Support. Mona holds a Master's degree in Computer Application from GGSIPU and a Bachelor's degree in Maths Hons. from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. She also completed her schooling at Chinmaya Vidyalaya. India Accelerator is the only GAN partnered, mentorship-driven, incubation program in India. Twice a year, the company handpicks up to 8 promising startups and helps them build a business out of their ideas. Mona's due diligence process is based on two principles: wide search and high-quality filters. She provides startups with the much-needed mentorship, network, technology, peripheral services (like legal, financial, etc.), and capital to bring the building blocks for a startup under one roof. Mona's relevant experience is 19.04 years, and her tech stack includes GAN and Search.
