Mughilan Thiru Ramasamy is a highly experienced product marketing and operations professional with a passion for solving complex problems using first principles. Currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO of Skylark Drones, Mughilan is dedicated to growing drone applications for the world today and tomorrow. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Mughilan has a proven track record of success in the industry. He has previously served as the Chief Design Engineer at Project Vyoma, where he designed up to 8 unmanned aerial vehicles that have been successfully test flown. He also participated in the SAE International Aerodesign in 2011 and 2012, securing 8th and 7th place out of 75 teams worldwide. Mughilan's expertise extends beyond design engineering to include systems engineering, basic aerodynamics, and aircraft design. He has trained juniors in these aspects and conducted workshops to generate revenue for the team. Mughilan has also served as a board member of the academic council at R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, where he advised on the syllabus of aerospace engineering and worked with eminent professors and industry veterans to create curricula for young engineers. Mughilan holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He also has a High School Diploma from Christ University and attended Baldwin Boys High School and Bala Vidya Mandir for his primary education. Mughilan's technical expertise includes ML, and he consistently stays up to date with the latest industry developments.
