Mukesh Chandra is an accomplished Assistant Professor with over 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Patna, with a research focus on Additive Manufacturing. Mukesh is open to collaborative research opportunities in Mechanical and interdisciplinary fields, with a keen interest in AI and ML, Welding Technology, Sustainable Manufacturing, Inflatable Structure for Space Antennas, Design, Simulation & Modelling, and MCDM. Mukesh has worked on several projects, including two sponsored projects by NPIU, MHRD, and a World Bank Project under TEQIP-III, NPIU, MoE, GoI. He is currently working on Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) at the National Institute of Technology. Mukesh is also a Convenor & Innovation Ambassador at IIC, NAAC Core Committee member & Departmental Coordinator, Departmental NBA team core member & Institute level core member, and Member of Start-up Cell, BIT Sindri. Mukesh's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Production Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology. He also has a High School degree in Science & Math from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Munger, Bihar, and completed his schooling at St. Joseph Public School. Mukesh is an expert in GATE (ME) and has qualified in 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017. Mukesh has relevant experience as a Research Scientist in AI and ML, and he is always looking to expand his knowledge and skillset. He is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, making him an asset to any team.
