Munish Jauhar is the Founder and CEO of GrayCell Technologies, a leading software development company that offers a wide range of IT services to Global 2000 clients. With almost 25 years of experience in the industry, Munish has a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. Before founding GrayCell Technologies in 2004, Munish worked as a Product Manager at Quark Media House and a US-based start-up. He has also launched GrayCell Ventures to mentor young entrepreneurs and provide seed capital for start-ups in software, web, mobile, and cloud computing space. Munish is an active angel investor and has invested in over 30 startups. In recognition of his achievements in the software arena, Munish was awarded the prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award for Most Promising Entrepreneur in 2011. He is also a member of the International High IQ Society, Rotary Club, and a trustee on the board of a leading college in North India. Munish is the founding curator for the Chandigarh Hub of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community and a member of the first-ever Global Shapers Community Advisory Council. He is a charter member of TiE, Chandigarh, and ex-chair of Yi (Young Indians), Chandigarh chapter. Apart from his professional achievements, Munish is an avid collector of modern and contemporary Indian art. He also has a passion for birding, long-distance running, reading, fish keeping, and music. Munish is married to Gurpreet, and they have two daughters, Bisr and Hunar. Currently, Munish is the President of TiE Chandigarh and has previously held the position of Vice President at the same organization. He has also been a member of the Northern Region Committee on Startup & Entrepreneurship at the Confederation of Indian Industry. Munish has a diverse technical skill set that includes product management, mobile, and web development. With his vast experience in the industry and his passion for mentoring young entrepreneurs, Munish is a valuable asset to the tech community.
