Muralidhar Duvvuri is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at GE Digital with over 19 years of experience in product/project management. He specializes in Control system design, embedded programming, simulation software design, and application software for gas turbines. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Muralidhar has extensive experience in IIoT (Industrial IoT), Edge computing, cloud computing, and developing dockerized applications. He designs and develops embedded control systems and simulation platforms for industrial control systems/multi-body dynamic systems. He also has experience in Application engineering of control software for industrial automation with a primary focus on the power generation industry. At GE Digital, Muralidhar designs and develops dockerized applications that run on Predix Edge platform. He also develops protocol translators which ingest data from different industrial protocols like Modbus, EGD, OPCUA, etc. and convert them to time series format for further analysis. He uses time series data in edge applications for Edge computing and pushes the same to the cloud using GRPC/protobufs and websockets for analytics. He also uses REST API for configuring/communicating with Edge devices. Prior to joining GE Digital, Muralidhar worked as a Technical Architect at MSC Software where he was responsible for the design and development of control systems communication components using C/C++ and Visual Studio on Windows/Linux, assisting in simulation driven engineering. He also worked as a Software Technical Leader at GE Intelligent Platforms where he was responsible for product/project lifecycle management and translating the voice of customer to system level requirements.
