Muskan Jain is a self-driven and passionate Software Engineer at Microsoft with a keen interest in technology and a desire to explore its applications in the real world. Her journey with computers started during her college years when she attended a Programming with Python class, which sparked her interest in computer science. Being an Electronics major, she has mostly learned through online courses, blogs, and books, and firmly believes in the power of self-learning. Muskan is proficient in C++ and Python and has knowledge of Java and JavaScript. She is also familiar with front-end technologies and tools and technologies related to data science and cloud technologies. She has developed an interest in web development and is constantly exploring open source tools, specifically Git and GitHub and database management systems like MySQL. Muskan's work experience includes a Project Internship at Collins Aerospace, where she worked on software development for embedded systems, and a Data Analyst Internship at Clootrack, where she worked on various projects in the delivery team to scrape, clean, and analyze data using MS-Excel, web scraping tools, and the company's own products/tools for data analysis. Muskan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, where she graduated in 2021. She has failed many times, but those experiences have made her better and forced her to re-evaluate her decisions and her way of doing things. She firmly believes in the importance of self-learning and sharing her experiences to help others learn from them. Outside of work, Muskan enjoys reading books and blogs, watching anime, learning how to drive a car, cook tasty meals, and play difficult melodies on a guitar. With 1.87 years of relevant experience, Muskan is a driven and passionate Software Engineer with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to make a difference in the world of technology.
