Nagesh B R is a seasoned DevOps and CM/Build-Release Specialist with over 26 years of industry experience. He has worked with various Software R&D corporations and has expertise in software configuration management and release management, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), Unix system administration in large/heterogeneous data centers, automation of operations, system testing (QA), and mentoring and training. Nagesh is a hands-on person with good expertise in building a team from the ground-up. He has handled large and multi-functional teams of support activities in a constantly growing and changing R&D center. He is a leader who mentors and coaches individuals and teams for high performance and productivity. He has experience in engineering/people/program/project management in the software R&D environment. Currently, Nagesh works as a Solutions Architect at Intel. In the past, he has worked with EMC as a Consultant Engineer, where he managed the enterprise software build environment for all OS platforms and build operations 24x7. He has also worked with Network Appliance as an Engineering Manager, where he managed a team of Build Release and Tools at the Bangalore site. Nagesh holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Operations Management from IGNOU and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication from the University of Mysore. He has a diverse tech stack that includes senior software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, test, QA, integration, and ETL.
