Namrata Bilurkar is a highly motivated software engineer with over 3 years of experience in backend development. She is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Twitter, where she is a part of the Learning Streams Platform team, working remotely out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Namrata is passionate about solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions that simplify processes. Namrata has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Engineering from SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She also completed her High School education from Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Namrata is proficient in various programming languages including Python and has expertise in backend development. She has previously worked at Rally Health as a full-stack developer, where she added new features and resolved bugs for the personalization engine and Individual Health Record (IHR) projects using Scala and React. Apart from her technical skills, Namrata is passionate about bringing gender equality and increasing the presence of women in technology. She is actively involved in numerous initiatives that focus on empowering women in technology, including the Learn IT, Girl program, through which she mentored a female student to learn programming using Python during the second, third, and fourth editions. Namrata was also involved as an organizer for the third edition of the program. Namrata's technical expertise, coupled with her passion for empowering women in technology, makes her a valuable asset to any organization. She is a team player, an excellent problem solver, and always strives to provide the most simplistic approach to any problem.
