Nancy Nigam is a self-driven and enthusiastic computer science professional with over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Computer Science, specializing in Systems and Big Data, from New York University's Courant Institute. Nancy is an active member of the Grace Hopper Celebration community and has participated in vGHC'21. Nancy's passion for learning and teaching is evident from her current role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at NYU Courant. She is responsible for assisting in the teaching of Fundamental Algorithms and Database Systems to undergraduate students. In addition, Nancy is also a Teaching Assistant for Algorithms at NYU Courant. Prior to her current role, Nancy worked at Oracle in the Java Platform Group for over 3 years. She was involved in developing and maintaining various Java-based applications, which honed her skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring. She graduated from BITS Pilani with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics. Nancy's technical skills are not limited to Java and Spring. Her Github profile showcases her proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks. She is constantly learning and exploring new technologies, making her a student for life.
