Narendra Sirugudi is a highly experienced technologist and the Founder of Alphonso Inc, a leading TV data company that provides verified TV audiences on mobile devices and the web. With over 25 years of relevant experience, he is a hands-on Engineering Lead for Alphonso TVOS and ACR Client solutions for TV SOC manufacturers, and is hugely focused on test-driven development for embedded applications. Narendra's expertise lies in automatic content recognition (ACR) technology, which is embedded in tens of millions of smart TVs, TV chipsets, mobile apps, gaming consoles, streaming devices, and OTT services. He understands what programming and advertising people are watching on TV in real-time, and through Alphonso Insights SaaS offering, he delivers actionable insights and closed-loop attribution with offline data in real-time, helping customers understand the true impact of TV advertising. Prior to founding Alphonso, Narendra worked as a Technical Manager/Technical Specialist/Lead Engineer at Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for call management on ATM switch and user space IP protocol stack and services on a SoftRouter. He also worked as a Technical Lead/Engineer at Hughes Software Systems, where he developed embedded middleware applications, E1/T1 links management, and call management on an ATM switch, as well as call services and SS7 call signaling on a telecom softswitch. Narendra holds an MSc in Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BSc in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College. He is an expert in various technologies, including test, mobile, senior software engineering, data science, and web.
