Naresh Sekar is a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at TestGorilla, with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Naresh has also built alert systems using Slack incoming webhooks to respond to incidents proactively. In the past, Naresh has worked at Hopin and vue.ai, where he has gained experience in Engineering Productivity, Hopin Core, Registration, Canvas, VueTag, and Nightwing. At Hopin, he shifted 99% of the tests to run in the pre-merge state to follow the test pyramid pattern, resulting in a stable pipeline with frequent deployments. He also implemented Pact-Contract testing with self-hosted pact broker to reduce their dependence on e2e tests. At vue.ai, Naresh created Python packages to support the common libraries for REST API & UI automation to support ML/AI use cases, which can be used across the organization with minimal effort. He also configured CI/CD setup for an ML/AI microservice using Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS, and Spotinst to bring up and shut down the instances via IaC to reduce the infra cost significantly. Naresh has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University.
