Natraj Choudhury is a highly experienced technology professional with over 20 years of relevant experience. He is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Zolve, where he is leading the development of innovative financial products for migrants across the world. Natraj has a proven track record of building reliable global-scale distributed systems, having worked for companies like Ola and WalmartLabs in the past. At Ola, Natraj served as the Chief Architect and Vice-President of Engineering, where he led the engineering team responsible for building Ola's mobility, fleet management, payments, marketing, self-drive, foods, and logistics. He also played a key role in enabling Ola's foray into international markets by building the tech stack required for compliance with various regulations like GDPR, PSD2, and PCI DSS. Natraj also created the Principal Engineer track at Ola, which helped the company attract and retain top technology talent. At WalmartLabs, Natraj served as the Head of Architecture Practice, where he was the primary architect for several global engineering initiatives. He played a key role in building products like the Next Gen Supply Chain and Omni-Channel Fulfilment for all global markets (GIF), Pick Route Optimization Framework and Algorithms for Grocery Home Shopping (GHS), and Walmart Data Fabric. Natraj also revamped and led the campus/lateral hiring initiatives for multiple groups at WalmartLabs, building a strong team of technology leaders who formed the backbone of the company's India operations. Natraj is a graduate of the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He also holds a degree from Cotton College Guwahati.
