Neeraj Adwani is an experienced Edge Controls Engineer at GE Renewable Energy with a background in Controls & Optimization. He is currently part of the Edge Applications development group, where he is responsible for developing machine learning solutions for GE wind turbines. Neeraj's current role involves developing and leading NPI Applications for farm level optimization to improve LCOE. He is also involved in building digital solutions to predict faults in the turbine for preventive maintenance and monitoring. Neeraj's primary focus is on designing and deploying ML & optimization based Edge solutions for wind turbines. This involves requirement engineering, FMEA, algorithm design, code development & deployment, testing, and validation of developed features on wind farms for deployment. Neeraj has extensive experience working with Python and has worked on various software development projects. In his previous role as a Python Developer at GE Renewable Energy, he was responsible for developing automated tools for data extraction, data pre-processing, and audio classification for the Acoustics testing & validation team. He also worked on Acoustics ML model Inferencing. Before that, Neeraj worked as a Controls Developer at GE Renewable Energy, where he was responsible for Controls software validation & regression testing for onshore wind turbines. He also worked on Controls software code development for onshore wind turbines. Neeraj has a Master's degree in Systems and Control from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University Institute of Technology, RGPV. Neeraj's technical skills include ML, Python, test, and software engineering. He has 2.27 years of relevant experience in the industry.
