Nikhil Babu is a dedicated Construction Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently employed at Saipem, where he is responsible for providing machinery-engineering support for modifications and new installations, as well as reviewing and approving MoCs, developing engineering specifications and requirements, and supporting test and commissioning. Nikhil's expertise in construction management has been instrumental in the successful implementation and monitoring of the quality, health, and safety culture at Saipem. Prior to joining Saipem, Nikhil worked as a Mechanical Field Coordinator at Toyo Engineering Corporation. During his time there, he played a key role in the success of several major projects, including the RAPID development, which is part of the PETRONAS Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) development worth an estimated 27 Billion US Dollars. He also worked on the TOYO Steam Cracker Complex, which is worth 2.5 Billion US$ and includes facilities such as Ethylene production plant, Pyrolysis gasoline plant, Butadiene extraction plant, Benzene separation plant, MTBE production plant, Utility and offsite facilities. Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
