Nikhil Barik is a tech enthusiast and a Software Engineer at Yahoo! with a passion for algorithmic problem-solving, mobile app development, blockchain, cloud, and DevOps. He is known as a community guy and loves to participate in hackathons, competitions, and developer communities. Nikhil has been a Google Cloud Ready Facilitator for his campus and is part of 3 tech societies in his college. He is also the Co-Founder of the newly established Zigbee Student Dev Club, where he has conducted several workshops on Git/GitHub, Flutter, and competitive programming. Nikhil is a technical writer at Geeksforgeeks and Medium and loves open source contributions. With tech societies, Nikhil wants to make newcomers in computer science who are intimidated or less interested get involved in technology and introduce them to communities like MLH, Dev Student Clubs, and ACM Chapters. He believes that having enthusiastic peers who push each other to do more gives him immense pleasure and satisfaction. Nikhil is currently working as an Associate Software Dev Engineer at Yahoo! in the Identity Platforms team. He has previously worked as a Mobile App Developer Intern at Lecturenotes and as a Crio Winter of Doing 2021 (Stage 2) at Crio.do. He has a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Odisha University of Technology and Research and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from North Orissa University. In his free time, Nikhil enjoys experimenting with Linux distros, watching videos comparing GeForce RTX 3090 vs AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, and going on trips with friends to new places. With his diverse skill set and passion for technology, Nikhil is a valuable asset to any team.
