Nilay Agarwal is a highly experienced DevOps Lead with over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) with extensive knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Groovy, AWS, Azure, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch. Currently, Nilay is working with Zeta as a DevOps Lead, where he is responsible for designing and implementing fully automated Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment pipelines and DevOps processes for Agile projects. He has also gained extensive experience in micro-services packaging with Docker and deploying on AWS ECS. Nilay has a strong knowledge of Unix, Linux, Build and Release, Continuous Deployment, AWS, Cloud Computing, UNIX Shell Scripting, Perl, SQL, and corresponding libraries with experience in development. Nilay has received numerous client appreciations for automation and has hands-on experience in AWS console/AWS Command Line to manage EC2 instances, S3, Elastic Load Balancer, and other Amazon services. He has set up Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Deployment apparatus and built CI and CD pipelines to make development lean and agile using Jenkins. Prior to Zeta, Nilay worked with Parkwheels as a DevOps Lead, where he played a critical role in creating a microservices architecture out of a monolithic app. He has experience with clients and users from different geographies and has been prompt in picking up and working on new/different technologies and streamlining DevOps and BnR processes. He also has experience with Production environments where he successfully managed to support deployments on 24X7 live environments with a focus on performance and availability of the systems. Nilay has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and has completed his education from Aligarh Muslim University. He is a skilled Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer with expertise in AWS, DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, CI/CD, Docker, Elastic Search, Kubernetes, Azure, SQL, Integration, Microservices, ECS, Terraform, and infra.
