Nilesh Rekhate is an experienced IT consultant with a focus on quality assurance engineering. With almost a decade of experience in functional and automation testing on web, APIs, and mobile, Nilesh has a strong background in ETL/database testing and a deep understanding of testing methodologies and processes. Nilesh has spent the past four years working as a QA automation engineer on web UI, APIs using Selenium with Java, and has a good knowledge of repository management tools like GIT. He is always ready to explore, learn, and develop solutions for problems and is extremely flexible in terms of technology or platforms. Nilesh also has working knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and version controlling tools like Jenkins and GIT. Nilesh is a quick learner and an excellent team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and work independently within a team. He has a solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect/bug life cycle, along with different methodologies like Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall, V-model, and Iterative. Currently, Nilesh is working as an IT consultant (Senior QA Engineer) at Arab National Bank, where he leads efforts in test planning, preparation, strategy creation, effort estimation, test management, monitoring, defect tracking, status reporting, metrics creation, and closure. He has hands-on experience in automation testing on web, mobile, and API and manages resulting defects through point of defect fix validation. Nilesh also has experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch. In his previous role as a QA coordinator at Expleo Solutions Limited, Nilesh was accountable for the quality of project deliverables, requirement analysis, test planning, test case preparation, review, and execution. He was actively involved in system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing and participated in planning for automation. Nilesh also has experience in back-end database testing through SQL and defect monitoring and follow-up with concerned vendor/Dev team. Nilesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Sipna's College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati. He is proficient in a variety of tech stacks, including Selenium, Java, Python, SQL, Jenkins, DevOps, ETL, and UI.
