Nishant Rajput is an Application Security Architect and Cloud Security Researcher with over 12 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working as a Product Security Engineer at Snowflake, where he is responsible for creating cloud security strategies and architectures based on industry standards and frameworks. He also leads the implementation of these strategies using Threat Modeling practices. Nishant is an expert in collaborating with multiple internal and external teams and partners to develop integrated, holistic, and consistent cloud security solutions. He has a strong technical background and is well-versed in various cloud solutions from Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and Python. Prior to joining Snowflake, Nishant worked as an Application Security Architect at Amdocs and as a Senior Security Engineer at L&T. At Cisco Systems, he worked on a virtualization-based app for Machine Learning and Data Mining. He was involved in Threat Modelling, planning & strategy, test approach involving DevOps, analyzing & highlighting the Kernel Hardening issues of Apache Nifi, Kafka, Security Frameworks employed, drafting the security mitigations on Docker subsystem, and Kubernetes Auditing. He also conducted VAPT activities on different platforms. Nishant holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kurukshetra University. He possesses a diverse technical skill set, including Snowflake, Senior Software Engineer, Research Scientist, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Python, Web, test, ML, DevOps, and infra.
