Nishit Nagar is an Advanced Software Engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He is currently working at Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer. Previously, he worked as a Data Scientist at Honeywell where he created ML models and Expert Systems to classify data accurately to improve customer onboarding experience and reduce overall onboarding time. Nishit is responsible for planning, designing, and creating services in Azure Openshift with REST APIs and Event Hub interfaces to host the prediction models and automate current and future workflows required to onboard the customers. During his undergrad, he did a research internship at Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he developed a Deep Learning model to predict travel time for cars for routes within a city. His focus was on deriving statistical information of the routes and networks to reduce data required per prediction, making the model more scalable. Apart from his professional career, Nishit has also been actively involved in various extracurricular activities. He is currently a member of the National Service Scheme at IIT Bombay. He has previously worked as a Coordinator for the ASME Student Design Challenge 2017 at Innovation Cell IIT Bombay and as a Marketing Coordinator at Techfest IIT Bombay. Nishit completed his Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2020. He is proficient in various technologies such as Python, Java, Spring, Docker, Tensorflow, and Scikit. With his expertise in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Science, Nishit is a valuable asset to any organization.
