Nithin Kumar is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Grab, where he enjoys tackling complex computational problems and challenges in software development. With a passion for building scalable and secure systems, Nithin has been fortunate to work with exceptional people on challenging projects throughout his career. Prior to joining Grab, Nithin worked at Practo as a Senior Software Engineer, where he built and architected several platforms that improved the performance, availability, and security of the system. He also designed and built a secure system to store and retrieve sensitive patient information and a scalable integration system that constantly communicates with different hospital information systems. Additionally, Nithin used machine learning algorithms to develop a consultation time prediction system for patients, which was a pet project of his. Nithin's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Government College of Engineering Kannur. He also completed his Higher Secondary education in Physical Sciences from the Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Madayi, and his SSLC in General from Government HSE, Kunhimangalam.
