Nitin Ambastha is a highly skilled Technical Lead with over 8 years of experience in the design and development of Microservices. He is currently working at Manhattan Associates as a Technical Lead in R&D. Nitin has a diverse range of domain expertise and has developed services for Sales, Cloud Storage, and Enterprise Search using Elastic. He is also currently learning about Supply Chain. Prior to joining Manhattan Associates, Nitin worked for General Electric as a Software Engineer. During his time there, he was responsible for designing and developing App Search and Full Text Search on Document Management Application using ElasticSearch. He also developed a Teleconferencing application layer over Skype and an EC protected Document management and storage application. Nitin played a key role in the design and development of group distribution list (Email Group) sync on BOX from mail using CDC with Kafka Connect and Box SDK. He performed code reviews and provided feedback to ensure software quality and consistency. Before joining General Electric, Nitin was a Senior Application Developer at IBM. During his time there, he was responsible for Reverse Engineering and R&D in Transformation of monolith Sales application to Microservices. He developed the core logic of CPE microservice in Sales Application for AT&T using Drools and designed and developed a report generation microservice using Apache POI. Nitin also maintained and enhanced HALO flow for ADOPT Application and created REST Api’s to connect with other microservices and Apache Kafka consumer module to connect with Orchestration layer. Nitin holds a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He also attended Oxford Public School for his secondary education. Nitin's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, Search, Backend, Kafka, Microservices, Software Engineer, and Elastic Search. He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for technology and a strong work ethic.
