Nitin Kumar is an accomplished Engineering Leader, Meditator, and Individual Investor with 18+ years of experience in solving real-world problems using technology. He is passionate about agile methodologies, servant leadership, and creating high-performance teams. Currently, Nitin is working as a Director of Software Engineering at Chargebee, where he is leading multiple Engineering Squads with a team size of 45+ that includes managers, architects, engineers, and QAs. Nitin is focused on strategy, enterprise architecture, building high-performance teams, innovation, and delivery using agile methodologies in the subscription and e-commerce domains. Nitin's expertise lies in designing and implementing successful no-code platforms that can handle CRUD and industry accelerators. He has also delivered five end-to-end e-commerce implementations, including an order management system using SAP Commerce Cloud (hybris). Nitin is an avid reader and is passionate about technology, yoga, alternative medicines, finance, and personal growth. He is a long-term investor with more than 14 years of experience and has identified multi-baggers like Eicher motors, La Opala, Mindtree, and Supreme Industries using a custom-built investment automation platform that handles end-to-end investment platforms from identification to investment decision making. Nitin has previously worked as a Senior Manager of Engineering at Walmart, where he headed Softwares and Solutions in the Compensation and Incentive area and led the Innovation Council. He has also worked as a Senior Development Architect at SAP, where he was the Lead Architect for a multi-cloud implementation using SAP Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales, and Service Cloud to support end-to-end sales and operations processes. Nitin was also the Lead Architect for a Large Scale IT transformation program of building a marketplace commerce with an order fulfillment system built using hybris commerce and hybris marketplace. He led a team of 25+ developers in a multi-year program. Nitin holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. He also completed his High School education from Meerut Public School.
