Nitin Mukhija is an Engineering Leader at Amazon with over 17 years of experience in leading high-performance engineering teams and building highly scalable distributed technology platforms from the ground up. He is a Startup Enthusiast who has gone through the grind and contributed to building PayU ground up, from a small startup to a profitable organization processing 20 Billion USD in 2019. At Edelweiss, Nitin drove technology modernization strategy, digital transformations, and established enterprise architecture. He led Product and Program Management teams for strategic and tactical planning, prioritization, and successful delivery of technology and product roadmap aligning with overall business strategy. At PayU, Nitin was responsible for setting the strategic direction for developing and delivering on technology and product roadmap for building the payment technology platform which supported the exponential Payment volume growth. He recruited and mentored a talent pool of people across various technology roles to build PayU as a strong Engineering brand. Nitin is passionate about continuously learning cutting-edge technologies and how they make the world a better place. He enjoys speaking at various Conferences, Community Meetups & Events. Nitin has several key achievements to his name, including being the first position in MCA, 9.69 CGPA, IIT Roorkee, 2005, Gold Medalist from Delhi University, 2002, and owning 3 patents. He has expertise in leadership, collaboration, product and program management, software development, data platforms, business intelligence, and design. Nitin has worked with several organizations, including Edelweiss and PayU, where he held the positions of Chief Technology & Data Officer; SVP and Vice President Engineering, respectively. He has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from IIT Roorkee and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Delhi University.
