Om Prakash S. is a highly skilled engineering executive with a passion for product development and building scalable software products. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Om has proven expertise in large-scale distributed systems, software engineering, and building high-performance engineering teams to create operationally excellent products. As the Founder and CTO of Dive, Om is deeply committed to engineering leadership and takes ownership of delivering world-class products to customers. He uses his extensive knowledge to define customer scenarios through user research, prioritize scenarios based on customer needs and impact, outline software design and architecture to achieve these scenarios, and plan for timely delivery to production with a team of creative and fast-paced engineers. Om also enjoys working directly with customers and engaging with them to understand their needs and iterate the product based on their feedback. Om's specialties include software architecture, low latency distributed systems, scalability, backend engineering, cloud computing, operating systems, storage, data engineering, media cloud, OTT streaming, machine learning, computer vision, infrastructure engineering, and computer networks. Prior to founding Dive, Om co-founded and served as CTO of mykarma and was the Head of Engineering at Fitzoo. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Anna University and completed his Higher Secondary education at Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School. Om's technical skills include senior software engineering, backend development, infrastructure engineering, computer vision, data engineering, machine learning, and research science. With his extensive experience and expertise, Om is dedicated to building innovative products that meet the needs of customers and exceed their expectations.
