Parul Anand is a second-year law student at National Law University, Jodhpur, with a passion for contributing towards making the world digitally safer and free. She is interested in the intersection of cyberspace, law, and technology. Parul is currently working as a Technology Law Intern at esports4g.com, where she has prepared an in-depth report on the Legality of Trading Gaming Accounts, analyzing its challenges with video games EULAs and developer IP rights, and demarcating solutions under the EULA UsedSoft v. Oracle Judgement and general Intermediary Liability. She has also analyzed contemporary research literature on Virtual Property Rights for gamers. Parul has previously interned at scriboard [advocates & legal consultants], where she prepared a research note to aid the firm in preparing a Transfer Impact Assessment for a US-based firm. She also prepared a client advisory note on LinkedIn Scraping. Additionally, she aided compliance documentation of an India-based media company wishing to expand its presence in the UK, EU, and California by researching on the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. Moreover, she aided the firm in assisting a client in updating their user-facing government access disclosure policy by researching upon the area in both criminal and civil aspects. In addition to that, she also summarized the Personal Data Protection Regime and its trajectory in India. Parul is a Research Scientist with 0.27 years of relevant experience and has been a Student Member of the Library Committee at National Law University Jodhpur. She is pursuing a B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree at National Law University, Jodhpur, and is expected to graduate in December 2026. Parul's interest in the intersection of law and technology, coupled with her research experience, makes her a valuable asset in the field of technology law.
