Prior to joining thinkbot research, Piyush worked with Goldman Sachs as a Vice President, where he gained expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. He also worked with Microsoft as a Software Engineer, where he was a part of the Bing Ads team. His role involved building machine learning algorithms to understand news articles and develop them in their production system. He also worked on sentiment analysis of articles to block ads on sensitive news content and article recommendation using Deep Neural Networks. Piyush holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institute.
