Prasad Giri is a proficient and experienced software developer who enjoys challenges. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control from D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology in 2015 and later worked for renowned companies like Lumax Industries and Magneti Marelli as a process engineer for new product assembly line setup. He also completed a PG-Diploma from CDAC in Advanced Computing in 2017-18. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer at Cybage Software. During his tenure as a developer, Prasad has worked as a DotNet Developer for Retail Marketing Centre platform for whom Microsoft is a client. He has also worked as a Python Backend Developer using the Django framework for web crawler-based applications. Currently, he is working on a Java project as a backend developer. He enjoys working in highly functional and motivated teams. Prasad's past experience includes working with Lumax Industries Limited as a Process Engineer (Electrical). He was involved in new SPM machine and tool trials, set-up of line and validation of all jigs and machines, process capability of the line, cycle time study, and involvement in making plant layout and capacity planning. He also worked with Magneti Marelli Motherson as a Process Engineer (New Project Development) where he was responsible for developing manufacturing facilities for lighting manufacturing on existing/new lines by providing machines and equipment within schedule time and budget. He was also involved in the development of PFMEA, Control Plan, Process flow diagram for new projects, negotiating contracts with vendors, and hot sealing process and vibration welding process & setting tool. Prasad's tech stack includes Software Engineer, Backend, Java, Web, Python, Django, Spring Boot, and Spring. He has completed training on Building Automation System conducted by Johnson Controls Inc. and possesses good knowledge of Instrumentation System Designing, Level/Flow/Pressure transmitters, Sensors, AUTOCAD, PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA, DCS, Motors/Starters/Control Circuits, and Windows XP, VISTA, Windows 7.
