Prasanna Pendse is a highly experienced Head of Technology, Head of Data and AI, and Head of Autonomous Vehicles Technology at Thoughtworks. With over 17 years of relevant experience, he is responsible for driving technology innovation and growth for clients' businesses, nurturing technical leaders, and guiding technology vision and strategy. Prasanna has held several leadership roles at ThoughtWorks, including leading the FinTech lab, General Manager of the Northeast Market based in New York, and Market Technical Principal for the US Central Market based in Chicago. He has extensive experience in financial services technology, public-facing social media sites, large-scale distributed object applications, and integrating disparate systems using Ruby/Rails, Java/J2EE, .NET, and JavaScript. Prasanna is a thought leader in the Agile, Ruby, and DevOps communities, consulting with companies on Evolutionary Architecture, OOP, public and private cloud, microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Test Driven Design, patterns, automated testing, eXtreme Programming, and NoSQL data stores. He is also a sought-after speaker on topics such as Blockchain, Tech Led Disruption in Financial Services, Event Sourcing, High Performance on JVM, Building Kick Ass Teams, Building Quality In, Agile Engineering Practices, Infrastructure as Code, and Cross-Platform Mobile Development. Prasanna holds a degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a degree in Compiler Design from DePaul University.
