Prashanth Kumar Murali is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Facebook as an Enterprise Engineer, he is responsible for building essential blocks of Planning tools in Network Operations. Prashanth is known for his exceptional skills in architecting new products, reviewing code, and conducting technical interviews. As a part of the Operational Research Science team, Prashanth works on optimizing threat detection by combining hate speech classification models and intrusive language scores. He also works on creating new data pipelines for increasing precision and CNN models based on Caffe 2 for classification. Previously, Prashanth worked at Aspera, an IBM company, as a Software Engineer - Analytics. He created the Aspera Analytics Data Platform for collecting log data from various aspera applications and servers and managed this streamed big data with Kafka, Spark, and Gleam. He also played an important role in strategy and decision making in terms of software build, product releases, and user issues. Prashanth holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. He also completed his high school education from DAV Higher Secondary School.
