Prateek Gupta is an experienced engineer with over 11 years of relevant experience in software development. He has a strong technical background in Java and algorithms, as well as knowledge of software architecture, design, and scalability. Prateek has worked on various features and integrations in product development, API development for mobile and web, and e-commerce and enterprise financial software. He is highly adaptable and enjoys learning new skills and technologies, which is essential in an age where new technologies are emerging at a fast pace. Prateek has a proactive approach to problem-solving and is always looking for new ways to achieve optimum solutions. He has a particular interest in checking for vulnerabilities in applications and implementing solutions to improve them. He strives to contribute to improving the functional user experience by analyzing features and ideas to simplify the UX from a user's point of view while exploring the application. Currently working as an intern at Infosys, Prateek has secured a GPA of 4.93 in Core Java, JSP, RDBMS to develop backend services. He has studied mobile architecture and REST web services for handling communications and developed backend web services for a project management application with features like data synchronization among the team. In his past roles, Prateek has worked as a Systems Engineer at Infosys, developing ASP.NET web applications and debugging issues, bug fixes, and developing new end-to-end features for the application. He has also worked on developing mobile application POCs in Mobility Unit at Infosys and has developed Android and PhoneGap-based apps along with building REST web services for handling requests on the server. Prateek has also worked as an Applications Engineer at Oracle, where he worked on projects using Oracle Fusion Middleware framework - Oracle ADF and SOA Suite. He was involved in projects using SOA Suite for designing and automating workflow and business process implementation. Prateek has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and completed his H.S.C (Intermediate) from City Montessori School (C.M.S), Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
