Prerna Bansal is a dynamic and passionate security enthusiast with over six years of experience in the field. As a Security Researcher at Adobe, she is responsible for making enterprise networks secure by participating in architectural reviews and designing phases. She has a hunger to learn new technologies, attacks, and tools, and she believes in safeguarding an organization by contributing to secure software. Prerna has experience with diverse types of tools, including Burp Suite, Acunetix, Checkmarx, Nessus, Nmap, Nikto, IBM Appscan, and many others. She has also done Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) of various enterprise products and services, including application security, mobile security for Android and iOS, API testing, thick client application security, and network and cloud security. Before joining Adobe, Prerna worked as a Product Developer and Associate Product Developer at BMC Software. As an in-house security engineer and researcher, she worked closely on all BMC products' security, including Remedy and Control-M, to keep each release of the products secure and attack-proof. Prerna holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the University of Pune, which she earned in 2014. She also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya Pune.
