Punit Sharma is an accomplished Information Technology Support Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the industry. He has worked in various roles such as Incident Manager, Problem Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader, Escalation Specialist, and Level 2 Specialist in different organizations, which has given him the confidence to handle any situation. Punit is a tech-savvy leader who has a passion for customer support and enjoys the new challenges that come with it every day. Punit is an AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate), MCSA (Server 2012), ITIL (v3 foundation), and HDI-SCA certified professional. He is also associated with people management and has a proven track record of managing teams and sharing relevant feedback when necessary. Currently, Punit is working as an Information Technology Support Engineer at Tronox, where he supports teams across all Geo’s, including APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions. He coordinates the Change Management process for all infrastructure activities happening throughout the organization. He provides support for Exchange, Okta, and Data Backup related issues, indulges in monthly patching to keep the servers and workstations compliant, and ensures support to the team from all technical aspects, including provisioning, technical assistance, KB creation/updation, etc. In his past roles, Punit has worked as a Senior Consultant at Hitachi and as a Senior Technology Specialist at McDermott International. He has experience in resolving unresolved or escalated calls by working as a further escalation point, supporting major initiatives, including domain, ERP, and Lotus Notes to Exchange migrations, and supporting users in the use of computer equipment by providing the necessary training. Punit has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Kuvempu University and a Diploma in Software Engineering from NIIT University.
