Rachita Ramesh is an aspiring Product Manager with a passion for innovation and strategy. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Engineering Management at Duke University, where she is studying Competitive Strategy, Design Thinking, and Innovation and Marketing. Rachita has a strong background in Qualitative Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision, which she developed during her 1-year and 10-month stint as a Software Engineer at Sony India. During her time at Sony, Rachita won a 'Spot'light award and a Young Achievers award for her deliverables. She also developed a natural interest in Product Management, which led her to volunteer with The Product Folks, a volunteer-driven community of product enthusiasts. Rachita's association with The Product Folks helped her understand the product ecosystem, the mindset of Founders, design acumen, and the strength of communication, curiosity, and consistency. She also interned at FrontRow as a Product Management intern, where she applied all her theoretical learnings to significantly impact a hyper-growth startup. Rachita's work involved data-informed decision-making, leading a team of 8 product ops interns, liaising with professionals, and looking at key metrics to focus and continually monitor. Through consistent iteration and speaking to customers daily, Rachita was able to move the DAU, WAU, and MAU metrics up the scale, reduce the churn rate, and increase time spent on time. Rachita's professional experiences have only piqued her goal of creating products/services that can alleviate significant problems. She aspires to constantly fine-tune her strategic thinking acumen and understand the human mind with the goal of creating the best value proposition of products for all stakeholders. Currently, Rachita is working as a Project Innovator at Duke Interdisciplinary Social Innovators (DISI), where she is impacting 200+ young men of color by collating resources having a transformative impact on professional development. She has also worked as a Product Lead at Dime Marketplace, where she led the product team and as a Product Management Intern at FrontRow, where she spearheaded user retention initiatives, conducted customer interviews, and revamped course offerings. Rachita holds a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering from B.M.S. College of Engineering and completed her high school education from the National Academy for Learning.
