Raghavendra Kumar is a Cloud Performance and SRE Architect with over 11+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Site Reliability, Deployment Architecture, Observability Engineering, and Cloud Implementations. He is currently working as a Staff Engineer (Performance and SRE) - IN 5 at Walmart Labs. Raghavendra has extensive working knowledge in Load Runner, Performance Center, and Rational tools. He is an expert in developing Automated Scripts for performance testing using Load Runner and RPT using Web (HTTP/HTML) & Web services protocols. He is also proficient in mapping client's requirements into performance test scenarios and identifying bottlenecks and root causes of performance issues. Raghavendra has designed and implemented deployment architecture for multi-tenant applications hosted on Azure Cloud, which includes POP regionalization, HA-DR architecture, and defining Replication and Subscription strategy between on-prem and cloud components. He is also responsible for setting up DR Dashboards and conducting DR Drills on Production and Non-Production environment. Raghavendra has managed and designed integrated dashboards for observability using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Glowroot, Splunk, Grafana & Prometheus. He has also built self-service tools for user groups (e.g., Performance Test As a Self Service) and Performance and SRE dashboards and Portals. Raghavendra has experience in creating SRE playbooks, defining branching strategy, and best practices for CICD workflow and reliable deployments. He is also responsible for capacity gatekeeping, capacity cost optimization, incident management, and doing RCA. Raghavendra is a committed, quick learning, result-oriented person with good communication skills and a quest and zeal to learn new technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka.
