Raghavendra Rachamadugu is a multi-talented Director of Engineering/Senior Technical Lead with over 19 years of experience in core product development. He has been consistently rewarded for his success in delivering challenging products on time with high quality. With 14 patents, 6 prestigious on-the-job awards, and many public speaking/writing appearances, Raghavendra is a seasoned professional in the industry. Currently working as a Software Engineer at meta, Raghavendra has previously held leadership positions at apstra, where he served as the Director of Engineering and Head of Advanced Solutions Engineering. During his time at apstra, he was responsible for bootstrapping independent projects with business strategy, product roadmap, and engineering responsibilities, which helped increase TAM. He also addressed capacity issues by doubling team size in just four months using a combination of offshore development teams and local hiring. Additionally, he unlocked application aware cross-domain incompatibilities by integrating Intent Based Networking with VMware vCenter, NSX-T, and Nutanix, and acquired high-profile customers by developing key product features like Intent Based Analytics, Network discovery, Device platforms, AOS CLI, and many more. Raghavendra completed his Bachelor's in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 2001, majoring in Computers. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various software engineering technologies. With over 21.79 years of relevant experience, Raghavendra is an expert in his field and has a proven track record of delivering successful products.
