Rahaman Sheriff is a seasoned Head of Product with over 12 years of international experience in the analytics and airline domain. He is a consultant and a leading SaaS product expert, with a PMP and an MBA. Rahaman is passionate about delivering products and collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed team members. He has a well-honed business acumen that has helped him channel resources to bring in more revenues for his present and past employers. Rahaman has worked closely with experts from across the globe and ideated on strategies depending on the kind of challenge within the airline domain. He believes in leveraging design thinking as a user-centric approach, which puts business needs in the absolute foreground. Currently, Rahaman works as a Product Consultant at Accenture, where he brings his deep expertise in testing, project and stakeholder management to develop and implement IT solutions. In his previous role as a Senior Product Manager at RateGain, Rahaman led and managed the complete RateGain Airline portfolio of 48 active SaaS customers, which includes airlines, OTA’s and P&L. He built and led the demand forecasting analytics platform and recommendation engine for RateGain customers from 0 to 1. He also owned the product vision, roadmap and launches, and worked closely with the CEO's office, business, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, other product managers, go-to-market, design, and QA teams. Rahaman has also worked as a Product Manager/Project Manager at Etihad, where he managed a cross-functional team of around 14 team members in a matrixed organization, which includes architects, test managers, data scientists, and developers in product delivery of artificial intelligence and operations research initiatives. Rahaman holds a Post Graduate Program in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from NIT Warangal, an MBA in Marketing from Amity University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has a diverse tech stack that includes product management, test, research scientist, AWS, QA, AI, ML, SQL, random forest, senior software engineer, big data, Python, data scientist, integration, mobile, backend, and web. Rahaman has 8.03 years of relevant experience and is passionate about leveraging his skills and experience to drive growth and innovation in the airline industry.
