Rahul Anumala is a passionate software developer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently employed as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft where he works on large scale cloud systems. Rahul has expertise in backend development, software architecture, algorithm and problem solving. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon where he was a part of the AddressService team. He was responsible for developing new business components, system and security improvements within the service. Rahul also mentored interns and new SDEs in the team to onboard them to Amazon systems and understand the team's architecture. During his internship at Amazon, Rahul designed and developed an end-to-end system which improved the printing experience of Amazon shipping website customers. He reduced the number of clicks required to get a printout from 5 to 1. The project included a windows taskbar application, a RESTful service deployed in Amazon network, a gateway which redirected requests from external Amazon application to internal Amazon service and minor changes to the UI of the shipping website to start using the application. Rahul is proficient in various technologies including AWS, microservices, and UI. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the LNM Institute of Information Technology. Rahul has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at LNM Institute of Information Technology where he taught Data Structures Lab in the fifth semester.
