Rahul Ramesh is a highly experienced technical architect with over 15 years of experience in telecom, networking, and application development. He is currently working as a Senior Product Architect at sense, an early-stage FinTech startup in Bangalore. At sense, Rahul is responsible for designing and building a secure and rapidly scalable serverless application that provides lenders and businesses with actionable credit intelligence and predictive analytics on the overall health of businesses. Prior to his current role, Rahul worked as a Lead Technical Architect at Crediwatch Information Analytics Pvt Ltd, where he managed the entire cloud infrastructure and was in charge of the DevSecOps practices. Rahul also worked with the engineering team to build a highly scalable serverless API Layer which conforms to OAS3 standards. He re-architected key microservices for event-driven serverless architecture, and hardened the AWS environment according to the AWS Well-Architected framework. Rahul also led the effort to migrate the legacy infrastructure from On-Prim to AWS Cloud and then re-architect it in distributing the workload to Azure to make it cloud-agnostic. Rahul's previous experience also includes working as a Technical Architect at DataWeave, where he was instrumental in designing and architecting key services to handle data doubling every quarter. Rahul led the migration of networks and services to AWS, and thereafter managed the complete AWS infrastructure. He also led the effort to redesign the entire data pipeline from a queue-based system to a pub-sub(Kafka) system. Rahul was responsible for formulating a data policy for the complete lifecycle of the data crawled which was doubling every quarter. Rahul has experience in designing, deploying, and managing various datastores including NoSQL Cassandra/DynamoDB, Search Engine SolrCloud, Central Logging ELK, Hadoop: Hive/Presto, RDBMS: MySQL, and Redis: Key-value datastore for caching. Rahul is skilled in AWS, Azure, cloud computing, Python, Hadoop, Containers, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, Search, Apache Airflow, Redis, MySQL, NoSQL, and Apache Hive. Rahul holds an MTech degree in IT from the International Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore. Rahul's relevant experience is 16.28 years.
